Designing the airframe for my drone has been somewhat long and arduous, but I think the current design (the last one) is finally ready for the CNC machine :)

So, placement update time. I’m still having an epic time here down in Guinness land; so far I’ve designed 3 drones for the company, all of which are in prototyping at the moment. Also decided to design and build a drone for myself (the one in the pic) - expecting parts for it next week, then I can cut the airframe :)

Ireland is still pretty awesome, still gutted about my lack of decent internet. Looks like I’m gonna have to download the eps of new SAO and Sailor Moon Crystal at work then U:

I love how the tubes are just there for show.

Haha I have one of these and the tube gain is great for making an already somewhat unpleasant sounding synth into a kinda distorted mush-fest.

"I have been mortal, and some part of me is mortal yet. I am full of tears and hunger and the fear of death, though I cannot weep, and I want nothing, and I cannot die. I am not like the others now, for no unicorn was ever born who could regret…"

Something I’ve been working on-and-off since March for one of my all-time favorite novel/movie. ♥

Whoop back in England for a few days (making use of the Irish bank holiday weekend.) Time to download ALL the things!

Made a trip out to Lough Hyne this morning, weather looked questionable but turned out to be so worth it :) Ireland is so pretty U:

Went to Killarney today, the scenery was utterly amazing all the way from Skibbereen. Will definitely be going up there again at some point :)

Update on my activities here on placement: this job is AWESOME.

I’m mainly designing new UAVs at the moment, but I also help out with manufacture and flight testing. Expect more photos as more drones are built :)

» Stuff!

Ohai all, I realise I’ve been pretty inactive for the past couple of weeks, so let me explain you a thing.

As part of my university course, I have to do at least 3 months of work placement at a company, and I managed to get an awesome placement in Ireland designing these:

It’s pretty awesome; however, my internet is definitely not. I’m restricted to about 250MB of data a day, so I have to avoid tumblr for now. However, I should be back to business as usual in a few months’ time :)

Until then, slán~

oh my god

As a person from California, this is 100% accurate

As a person from Michigan, this is 100% accurate

As a person from England I was so confused because I forgot you use the Fahrenheit system

100 degrees in England

I don’t know why I found the skeletons so funny, it’s almost like they’re dancing really sarcastically?
